What to Expect

No experience? No problem. Every session starts with a briefing from one of our Axe Coaches, demonstrating different throwing techniques before you pick up a single axe. Walk-ins are welcome, but booking ahead online is the best way to guarantee your lane. Forget the wooden board with a painted bullseye — we use a projection system with 20+ games, from Cricket and Zombies to Tiki-Tac-Toe and our own take on Battleship, so no two rounds feel the same. Axe throwing at Bananas’ Axe Cabana is extremely safe as long as you follow the rules your coach walks you through — most first-timers are sticking axes within their first few throws.

Pricing & Group Sizes

Axe throwing sessions run $32 + tax/fees per person for one hour, or $52 + tax/fees per person for two hours — plenty of time whether it’s a couple’s date night or a group of twenty or more. Frequent throwers can save with an individual or couples membership, which includes unlimited 1-hour sessions and 20% off drinks. Looking for some friendly competition? Ask about our axe throwing league — six weeks of round-robin play for $99 per person, capped off with semifinals and finals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an age limit? All participants must be at least 13 years old. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign the waiver.

Do I need to book in advance? We highly recommend booking online, though we do accept walk-ins based on availability.

How much does it cost? $32 + tax/fees per person for one hour, $52 + tax/fees per person for two hours.

Will I be trained? Yes — every session starts with a briefing where your Axe Coach demonstrates two throwing techniques before you begin.

Is axe throwing safe? Extremely, as long as you follow the rules explained by your Axe Coach and outlined in the waiver.

My family and I had a great time at Banana’s Axe Cabana. Paul was very friendly and explained how all the various games worked. Games like tic-tac-toe, zombies and traditional dart board made it fun for teenagers and adults alike. They have a good variety of drinks on site if you get parched while tossing axes. Whether you’ve thrown axes before or you’re a complete beginner, they’re always happy to give you tips and help you improve. My partner and I have been looking for a new axe throwing place since the one closest to us had close. We were wonderfully surprised when we found Bananas' Axe Cabana. “ … You and your damn reviews … “ what my girlfriend said after we left and I said I’d review the place. It was a great place to be in a high traffic high volume tourist area that needs something different. It was better than we expected but if I’m being honest it was truly a better experience with Axe throwing than we expected. We both have thrown axes, knifes and ninja stars but here having a digital screen on the wooden board made it better because it has various games you can play. Also the tiki bar is great. If anything the bathrooms should have vents

This was a lot of fun. The owner is a great guy and very accommodating. They have a decent selection of craft beers but no food or hard alcohol on site. Anything other than bagged snacks needs to be ordered in. The pizza place we ordered our food from was decent. But if you are looking to have a great time throwing axes and laughing this is your place.

What a great time i have in bananas Axe cabana, first time visiting this place and had a blast. Love their tropical tiki themed atmosphere. Staff is so friendly, welcoming and attentive they also provide with guidence for first time throwers and how to used their digital games. What i love the most was their digital games they have a variety of axe throwing games on digital targets, they offer drinks and food is available to ordee from local restaurants. That extra level of attention really made the experience feel personalized and welcoming. The bartender was equally wonderful! Super friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. As a Brit we had no idea where to go but found this place on google and wow. What an amazing experience this was! They made sure we knew everything we needed to know to have a safe and great fun time. The catered food was organized and delicious! (they coordinated nearby hibachi to be served). Had a really great time! Came on a Friday right at 3 when they opened and we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff were super kind and helpful, and the lanes were really well maintained. I love that the board is done with a projection instead of painted on. We really enjoyed playing the regular target style game, but also the wheel of fortune style word game as well. Brought a 17-member group of family with ages ranging 9-78. We all had a great time! The staff were helpful from the reservations process through our final picture at departure time. On arrival, we were checked in efficiently and ushered to an area with four throwing "alleys". We had a quick lesson and were off to a great start. The staff helped with a food order from a nearby restaurant, and even set up a food table for the group. The bar was good, with the woman serving cheerful and helpful, and a nice selection of beers and other drinks. The games were good, better than most others. The targets were entertaining; We even got to throw at Zombies (how good is that?), but I do suggest that someone modify the software so that they bleed when you hit them! Two hours was the right amount of time. Strongly recommended for your group night out. We will do this again. Thanks to the team!

Five stars!! Went for the first time on Valentine's Day and had an incredible experience. The staff was very friendly, gave us a little lesson and checked in on us multiple times to see if we needed pointers or more drinks. The options for games were very fun and we got better and better the more we played! Whole staff thanked us for stopping by as we left, and I know we'll be back!!

Had the pleasure of attending Bananas' Axe Cabana with my coworker, and we had a great time! We met with Stuart, the owner, and as first-time axe-throwers, he got us comfortable very quickly. The atmosphere lends itself to a good time with ambient lighting, fun decor, and an awesome bar. I would definitely go back!

Stuart was amazing, and the venue is super cute with its Tiki Bar theme. The axe‑throwing was more challenging than I expected, but once I got the hang of it, I was completely in the zone. This spot would be perfect for a date night, an office team‑building event, or even a fun outing with the whole family. I would definitely recommend it!

This is one of my favorite ax throwing places in orlando! the environment is incredibly fun and they have a huge variety of options for ax throwing games! Megan and Paul were incredibly helpful on getting started with how to properly throw the ax’s and were incredibly attentive all night making sure we had drinks and whatever else we needed! will absolutely be returning soon!

Our firm had a great time here! There was plenty of initial guidance to make us feel comfortable with hurling axes, and frequent check-ins throughout to make sure we were feeling comfortable and doing okay. The drinks were great, and the BOGO deal on the website for Tuesdays was fantastic. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely come back. FYI: One hour is enough time for three people to finish 2 games when each person takes three shots at each turn

Bananas is so much fun! We had a group of 17 from all over the US and it was fun to get together as friends and try something new! Drinks/Food were great and the axe throwing even better! I loved that you could play games vs just throwing the axe on the board, battleship was hysterical. Paul was great at giving us pointers and making sure we were all enjoying ourselves. Would highly recommend Bananas to anyone!

We arrived on the Sunday before thanksgiving so it was very quiet at 9pm and Paul was so lovely. We were the only ones in there until closing and he was so friendly and helpful. The drinks were great and it was a clean and friendly environment. Would highly recommend for some entertainment if you’re looking for drinks and an activity !! ABSOLUTELY A BLAST!!! clean, organized layout, fun decorations, jukebox, punching bag, photo booth, giant connect 4 and a good variation of game modes for the throwing. (tic-tac-toe was my favorite) And the gift shop isn't intrusive like a lot of places are. staff was funny and welcoming, the waiver is not overly complicated, acted like we were already friends. the person going over the safety measures was hilarious and very supportive of my embarrassment at being ABSOLUTELY terrible xD i only made one decent shot. would come here every weekend if i could.

Hosts were so welcoming and accommodating! The place is so much fun - our large group had a blast! We worked with Stuart to have the event catered and the food was plentiful and tasty. Accommodations were made for vegan and vegetarian guests. The bar is a nice touch too if you want to grab a drink between rounds of hurling axes at a variety of targets.

It was a great atmosphere with super cool decor. They conduct a quick safety orientation before playing & demonstrate how to properly throw the axe. It was also nice that they allowed each of us to feel the weight of the axe & throw it until we were each successful with hitting the board, before we actually began our play time. Absolutely loved that the axe throwing had digital game choices that we could select to display on a screen that is over the boatd. That way your axe throwing had a fun purpose or competition. We were a group of 5 women, which we did a 1 hour of play time. That was more than enough time to enjoy the activity, as it gets to a point you start to get tired. All in all, it was very fun & interactive. I would highly recommend.

The staff gave us a quick tutorial that made throwing super easy, even though most of us had never done it before. They focused on safety but still kept the energy fun and laid back. The space is open and perfect for groups there’s plenty of seating and room to move around. You can tell it’s designed for a good time, whether you’re going with friends, coworkers, or planning a party. They also have themed nights like karaoke and trivia, which makes it even more worth coming back. Overall, the vibes were great, the drinks were solid, and we left with so many fun memories. The bays are spacious with QR code menu systems to order drinks on the fly. Beer selections are robust. Seltzers available. Bottled Water and Some sodas. Food, they allow local delivery eating in house. Staff was very catering and our group had a great time! Priced reasonably, good packages.
